Built for foreign founders who got caught off guard by Form 5472

5472forYOU exists because a $25,000 penalty for a form most founders have never heard of shouldn't come as a surprise.

Why we started this

Most foreign owners of US LLCs don't skip Form 5472 on purpose. They skip it because nobody tells them it exists. A single-member LLC with no US income, a formation fee paid from a personal card, a capital contribution to open a bank account — none of it feels like a "transaction" worth reporting. But the IRS disagrees, and the penalty for getting it wrong is $25,000 per form, per year, whether your LLC made a dollar or not.

We founded 5472forYOU to close that awareness gap. Not with another generic template, and not with software that spits out a PDF and leaves you to figure out the rest — but with an actual tax professional who reviews your filing by hand before it ever reaches the IRS.

Who's behind the filings

5472forYOU is built around the work of Michal Zacik, a US tax professional with more than 10 years of experience in US corporate tax and over 7 years focused specifically on nonresident taxation. He holds an IRS PTIN (P03281868) and an EFIN, and he prepares and reviews every Form 5472 and pro forma Form 1120 that goes out under the 5472forYOU name.

That matters more than it might sound. Form 5472 sits at the intersection of two things most generic filing tools don't specialize in: US corporate reporting requirements, and the specific circumstances of owners who live outside the United States. Michal's preparer information, including his PTIN, is included directly on your pro forma Form 1120 — so the person responsible for your filing is identified, not hidden behind a template.

Michal has successfully completed the IRS Annual Filing Season Program requirements for the 2027 filing season, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to professional education and staying up to date with U.S. federal tax regulations. This additional qualification reflects our commitment to maintaining professional standards and providing reliable U.S. tax compliance services to foreign-owned LLCs.

The problem we solve

Form 5472 is a narrow, specific filing requirement: foreign-owned US LLCs with reportable transactions need to disclose them, attached to a pro forma Form 1120. The rules themselves aren't complicated. What's complicated is that almost nobody tells foreign founders this applies to them.

Reportable transactions aren't limited to invoices and wire transfers. They include capital contributions, distributions, formation costs paid personally, and even a registered agent fee charged to your own card. Miss one of these, miss the April 15 deadline, or misclassify your LLC, and you're looking at a $25,000 penalty — the same penalty whether the mistake was deliberate or you simply didn't know.

We exist to make sure that doesn't happen to you. And if it already has, we help with that too. Prior-year filings are supported, and when a late filing qualifies, we include a reasonable cause statement at no additional charge to explain the circumstances to the IRS.

See the work before you pay

We don't ask for payment upfront. Your Form 5472 and pro forma Form 1120 are prepared and professionally reviewed first. Once your filing is ready, you'll find it waiting in your client dashboard — at which point you pay, review the details, and sign. Only then do we submit it to the IRS, by online fax, with confirmation provided once it's done.

It's a simple principle: you should see the work before you decide it's worth paying for.

Why this isn't a DIY tool

Plenty of services will generate a Form 5472 PDF for you and call it done. The problem is what's missing — no professional reviews the details, no preparer is identified on the filing, and no one is accountable if something's wrong.

With 5472forYOU, a paid preparer is named on your pro forma Form 1120, every filing is reviewed by hand before submission, and if your situation calls for a reasonable cause statement, that's included rather than upsold. We offer two tiers depending on how much attention your case needs:

Standard Filing — $199: Form 5472 and the pro forma Form 1120, prepared from your questionnaire answers and professionally reviewed before filing.

Expert Filing — $299: Everything in Standard, plus a dedicated expert assigned to your case, a detailed case review, and additional audit support.

Straightforward, by design

No subscriptions. No unnecessary upsells. No fine print designed to confuse you. 5472FORYOU LLC is based in Wyoming, and if you have a question before, during, or after your filing, you can reach us directly at contact@5472foryou.com.

Form 5472 compliance shouldn't depend on luck or guesswork. It should depend on whether someone who does this every day has looked at your filing before it goes to the IRS.
